URWERK's UR-105 CT Streamliner has a new level of coolness
Award-winning Swiss watchmaker URWERK is celebrating 20 years since it launched its first timepiece at Baselworld in 1997, and this anniversary is definitely a good reason to keep an eye on the brand's stunning creations, Right? The latest project to bear their name is the super cool URWERK UR-105 CT Streamliner, built around one of the brand's most iconic models and featuring a unique approach to body design - as always.
It still has the same intricate UR-105 mechanism underneath this striking body, but with a charming Targa look, it's sure to be a great conversation starter. You see, a hood sits right on top of the watch, which can be easily opened to reveal more of its amazing inner workings.

The new watch features a "soap bar" case made of titanium and tantalum, measuring 39.5mm wide, 53mm long and 17.8mm high.
Tantalum has an attractive bluish-gray luster and is a precious metal that is difficult to machine and finish. Tantalum is rarer than gold, harder than steel, and resistant to corrosion, making it an alternative to platinum because of its inertness. It is very acid resistant due to its high density.
